Brazil Economists Raise 2008 CPI Forecast to 4.66% vs 4.50%

April 14 (Bloomberg) -- Brazilian economists raised their 2008 inflation forecast to 4.66 percent 4.50 percent from a week earlier, according to the median estimate in an April 11 central bank survey of about 100 economists published today.
Economists covering the Brazilian economy also increased their year-end benchmark interest rate forecast to 12.75 percent from 12.50 percent.
