July 18 (Bloomberg) -- Brazilian equities were upgraded to ``overweight'' at Morgan Stanley, citing strong earnings growth expectations in the country.
The brokerage also raised its recommendations for India, Mexico and Turkey to ``equal-weight.''
``We now actively favor higher-beta markets,' analysts led by Jonathan Garner wrote in a note to clients dated yesterday.
Chile, Philippines and Egypt were cut to ``underweight'' while Israel was lowered to ``equal-weight.''
