ASEAN-4 is comprised of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand. BRICs is comprised of Brazil, China, India and Russia. Euro Area is comprised of Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain. G-7 is comprised of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK, and the USA. OPEC* is comprised of Algeria, Angola, Indonesia, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Venezuela. Iran and Iraq (OPEC members) are excluded due to the lack of data. NICS is comprised of Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.
Adding China and Hong Kong together would result in reserves of $1273.816 billion, which would be an increase of 13.67 percent from the previous year.
